General Trading
The Trading division of FKS, based out of Khobar, is
involved in various types of trading within the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia. The Trading division's responsibilities
include not only acting as importers, suppliers and
retailers but also as agents and sales representatives for
several local and foreign suppliers and manufacturers.
Similar to the Contracting division, the activities
undertaken by our Trading division are many and diverse, and
some of the main activities are outlined below.
Gear Drive Units
FKS is the Sales Representative for the products of the
Japanese Company NIPPON GEAR CO., LTD. The Company sells
Japanese made Limitorque Valve Actuators and Valve Controls
for oil pipelines. It also sells Gears and Gear Drive Units
for Mixers, Screw Jacks, High Speed Gear Drives,
Synchro drives, and Cooling Tower Fan drives. The Trading
Division in Khobar handles all sales and services.
Mechanical Equipments
FKS is the sole Agent in Saudi Arabia for the Japanese
Company NIPPON PILLAR PACKING CO., LTD. The agency is based
out of Khobar and is a vendor for Mechanical Seals, Flushing
Coolers and Oil Units. The Trading Division also provides
Pillar Packings, Gaskets, Pilaflon Products, Thomas
Couplings and other related products
Metal Spray
FKS is the sole Agent in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait for the
Japanese Company ARC TECHNO CO., LTD that specializes in
Metal Spray Technology. The system, developed by ARC Techno
is an innovation in the application of Metal coating on
various surfaces encountered in Industrial, Architectural
and Commercial Fields. It is primarily used as a Corrosion
Prevention method. The agency is handled by the office in
Kuwait.
Reciprocating Equipments
FKS is a Supplier of Rotating and Reciprocating Equipment
made in Japan, Europe and the United States. These products,
which include Pumps, Turbines, Compressors, Speed Governors,
Boilers, Evaporators and Valves are mainly used by Utility
and Petroleum Plants. The Company also supplies Testing and
Measurement Instruments for Mechanical, Electrical and
Electronic Equipment as well as Corrosion Protection
Products such as Cathodic Protection Systems, Anodes and
necessary Electrical Equipment. All of the sales for these
products are done from Khobar.
Building Materials
FKS is a Stockist and Retailer for building materials
stocked at outlets in both Jubail and Khafji. The stocked
items include Mild Steel Plates, checked Plates, Galvanized
Iron sheets and Structural Steel. All of these items are
sold in all sizes in, sections and grades. These outlets
also sell Stainless Steel Sheets, Pipes and Tubes as well as
Timber, Plywood, Gypsum Boards, Bricks and Tiles. These
Materials are imported from the Far East, Europe and the
United States
Automobile Spare Parts
Since 1966 the company has owned a group of Offices, Stores
and Sales Outlets in several locations in the Eastern
Province of Saudi Arabia. These deal with automobile spare
parts tools, light machinery and electrical equipment.
Irrigation Equipment
The Trading division is also a Retailer for Irrigation
Equipment that is specially imported From the United States.
The retail outlet for this machinery is located in Jubail.
Fabrication
In Jubail, FKS established a workshop in 1978 that
Fabricates Portacabin/Portable Offices according to the
designs and requirements of the customer suitable for the
various climates of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
This workshop also specializes in Carpentry and Remodeling
that not only provide Architectural Design but also Interior
Decorations for private Residences and Office Buildings.
