Engineering Design

In 1968 IHS, in association with JAPAN OIL ENGINEERING (JOE) of Tokyo, Japan, carried out engineering design and supply of technical personnel to ARABIAN OIL COMPANY (AOC) as and when requested.

In 1981 the Consulting and Project Administration division of IHS joined with JOE and formed the joint company, JEBRA Contracting Company Ltd. After a long and successful venture in construction contracting, JEBRA was dissolved in 1989. The Consulting and Project Administration division of IHS was then merged with its Contracting division and the company, independent of JOE, started handling major contracts. At present, for major engineering and turnkey projects, FKS can still draw on JOE as technical backup as well as several other foreign and local consultants.
